Rehau S706…
The Rehau S706 Chamfered ( Flat ) Profile suite is perfect if you like non fussy clean simple lines. This profile is often easier to keep clean than the EDGE fully sculptured ovolo aswell. The Outerframe is 70mm from the Front to the Back ( Outside to Inside ) Then 72mm From the edge to the glass line or where the edge of the door outerframe meets where the open door area is.
The overall height of the outerframe is 72mm high at the tallest point and 52mm at the shortest point which is shown at the left hand side in the picture to the right.
The 72mm Outer frame is always used around the top and sides of the door and on the base unless a 52mm Low Threshold is required. The low threshold would be used when you want to lower your step over on the floor. Care needs to be taken when selecting the 52mm Low threshold that there is enough height for the door slab to clear any rugs or mats that you may have.

Rehau Edge…
The Rehau Edge Ovolo ( Sculptured ) Profile suite is perfect if you like an ornate moulded type design. This profile is a little harder to keep clean than the Chamfered / Flat S706 Outerframe aswell due to the extra edges and curves.

Rehau Addons…
Addons are simply packers that clip onto the sides or the top of the outerframe. They are used in situations such as where the inside plaster is very thick to avoid the outerframe from being buried in the plaster. The outerframe being buried in the plaster can not only look un-sightly in some cases but also the doors hinges can end up catching against the plaster. Using the addon packers solves this problem.
With Rehau profile there are 15mm or 45mm addons available depending the the problem that we are looking to overcome.
